“Cat Soup” by me

He answered, “Your kind plays a huge role in the catalysis. All your willful myopic bad decisions. Even with all the warning signs in your face, you still choose options that shorten your span. You don’t get to play victim and throw the blame on some fictional anthropomorphised deity. God is so much more complex than we could ever comprehend. Imagine the grand ego that goes into thinking the very entity that crafted and drives the whole universe looks like you? Out of the billions of intergalactic species… You crepe brains took my instructions and turned them into fairytales to take advantage of yourselves. You found your scientific way to quantify the known universe and use it to take advantage of yourselves. You did not learn from the tower of babel and continue to pursue godhood through nuclear armaments, Artificial Intelligence and technology. Watch as your tower crumble beneath your feet before you meet the ground in violent humility…”

“Violent humility… is that what happened to you, fallen angel? Losing God’s graces so easily.” she said.

He paused then laughed so hard it vibrated across the room, he asked, “I gladly face my penance. Tell me Doc, do you know what the face of God is like?”

“Obviously not, but you would know.”

“Careful with your words, Doctor. Gibbs, Boltzmann, Ehrenfest to name a few had some psychosis related death and they all had one thing in common, the study of statistical mechanics.”

“What does that have to do with God’s facial features?”

“Statistical Mechanics is a beautiful field of physics that breaks down the format and behaviour of the universe. The aforementioned experts went so deep into the subject, they began to understand how God operates in the universe mathematically and went mad. They looked upon the face of God.”

He continued, “Your species have a way of perceiving reality which is useful but should not be mandatory. Perception is a tool to be used and not a seat for consciousness.”

“Elaborate on that,” she stated.

“Seeing linearity is useful. Placing arbitrary points in time and connecting the line between is great but existence may not depend on a law of ‘beginning and end’ but rather a mechanism of all at once. Simul-causality, to put it simply.”
